How Torque & Parts handles information about you and your vehicles

This Privacy Notice explains what kind of information Torque & Parts may process when you browse the catalog, contact support or place orders, and which choices you have about that information.

Torque & Parts is a catalog and support service. Depending on how you use it, we may work with the following types of information:

Catalog usage data. Pages you visit, searches you run, filters you use and technical information about your browser and device (such as IP address, language, approximate region and error logs).
Contact details. Information you share when you contact support or place an order, such as your name, workshop name, email address, phone number or delivery address.
Vehicle and parts information. Data about vehicles and parts that you look up or save, such as model descriptions, engine codes, part numbers and job notes.

2. How and why we use this information

We use the information described above only for clear purposes connected to the catalog and support:

to show you relevant parts and keep your session running safely;
to answer questions about fitment, availability, delivery and returns;
to prepare, deliver and document orders where that service is available;
to maintain and improve the quality of the catalog data and support tools;
to detect misuse, security issues or attempts to damage the service.

When laws in your region require a specific legal basis for data processing (for example, consent, contract, legitimate interests or legal obligation), Torque & Parts will rely on the appropriate basis for each activity and document it internally.

3. Cookies, local storage and analytics

The catalog may use small files and identifiers to remember your session and understand how the service is used:

Essential cookies and storage. Items that keep you signed in (where applicable), remember your language and preserve your active cart or shortlist. They are needed for the catalog to function.

4. When information may be shared

Torque & Parts does not sell information about you or your vehicles as a separate product. Information may be shared only in these situations:

Suppliers and logistics partners. When needed to prepare and deliver orders, handle returns or investigate quality issues with specific parts.
Legal and safety reasons. When we are required to respond to valid legal requests, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud and abuse.

If the catalog is provided through a local partner or distributor, that partner may act as a controller of some information together with Torque & Parts. In that case, additional local notices may apply.

5. How long we keep information

Information is kept only as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this notice or to meet legal requirements:

technical logs are typically kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting;
order records are kept for the time required by bookkeeping and consumer laws;
support conversations may be stored while they remain useful for follow-up and training;
catalog usage analytics are usually stored in aggregated form that does not focus on individual users.

When information is no longer needed, it is removed or anonymised in a reasonable way.
