Terms of use
Conditions for using the Torque & Parts catalog and support
These Terms set out the basic rules for using the Torque & Parts catalog, any related support channels and, where available, ordering services. Please read them before relying on the catalog for workshop decisions.
1. Service scope
Torque & Parts is a catalog and support service that helps you research automotive parts, plan jobs and, where possible, request or place orders through participating partners.
- The catalog itself does not guarantee that any specific part will be available at all times.
- Final contracts for the sale and delivery of parts may be concluded with local distributors, workshops or partners, not directly with Torque & Parts.
- The service is aimed at adults who work with vehicles or manage them; it is not intended for personal use by children.
2. Using the catalog responsibly
By using the catalog you agree to:
- use the service in line with applicable laws and workshop safety rules;
- treat catalog output as a tool that supports, not replaces, professional judgment;
- check part numbers, fitment information and torque values against vehicle documentation;
- keep account details (if any) safe and not share them without permission.
You are responsible for decisions you make in your workshop. Catalog suggestions and support notes are guidance, not direct instructions to perform a particular repair.
3. Accounts, pricing and orders
In some regions you may be able to create an account, view pricing and place orders through the catalog. In such cases:
- Prices and availability. Prices, discounts and stock information may change at any time. A price shown in the catalog is not a binding offer until it is confirmed in an order summary or invoice.
- Order confirmation. You should carefully review your order details (part references, quantities, delivery address and dates) before confirming. Corrections after confirmation may not always be possible.
- Local partners. Orders may be processed by local distributors or workshops, who are responsible for final pricing, delivery and compliance with local consumer rules.
4. Returns, incorrect parts and defects
Return rules, refund options and warranty handling can differ between regions and suppliers. General principles used by Torque & Parts and its partners are:
- Incorrect parts. If a part does not match what was confirmed, you should contact support or the seller as soon as possible, provide photos and follow return instructions.
- Installed parts. Once a part has been installed, returns may be limited to warranty claims where a defect can be shown according to local law and supplier rules.
- Deadlines. Many regions have strict time limits for reporting issues. Please check local conditions and supplier terms carefully when you receive an order.
5. Catalog content and intellectual property
The structure of the catalog, its descriptions, photos, diagrams and tools are protected by intellectual property rights.
- You may use the catalog for researching and planning jobs in your own workshop or fleet.
- You may not copy large portions of catalog data for building a competing product or for bulk resale without written permission.
- Brand names, logos and product images belonging to suppliers are used under their respective rights and should not be reused without permission.
6. Misuse and prohibited behaviour
You agree not to:
- attempt to break, overload or bypass security measures of the service;
- use automation to scrape or copy large amounts of catalog content;
- use the service to send spam, abuse or illegal content to others;
- pretend to be another person, workshop or organisation when interacting with support.
Torque & Parts may suspend or restrict access where there are reasonable signs of misuse or attempts to harm the service or other users.
7. Disclaimers and limits of liability
Torque & Parts aims to keep catalog information accurate and up to date, but cannot promise that it will be perfect or suitable for every situation. To the extent permitted by applicable law:
- the service is provided “as is”, without guarantees about availability, speed or completeness;
- Torque & Parts is not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost bookings or downtime, except where local laws do not allow this exclusion;
- total liability in relation to the service will normally be limited to the amount you paid for the specific order or period that gave rise to the claim, if any.
Nothing in these Terms is meant to limit rights that you cannot waive under consumer protection or other mandatory laws in your region.
8. Changes, governing law and contact details
These Terms may be updated from time to time, for example when the catalog adds new features or when legal requirements change. Updated versions will be published on this page.
Torque & Parts operates through different entities and partners. The law that governs your use of the service, and the place where disputes are handled, will usually be the law and courts of the country where the relevant Torque & Parts entity or distribution partner is established.
